Established in 1972 in one of the back lanes of Nadi Town, South Pacific Recordings Ltd. ( Now commonly known as SPR) is today Fiji's largest and longest established Music & Video Company involved in Imports, Manufacturing, Distribution, Wholesale, Retailing and Exports.

It started with only 2 employees and today has approximately 120 staff on its payroll.

Initially set up to duplicate English Audio Cassettes under license from major distributors in New Zealand, SPR has in last 33 years grown and expanded tremendously to become a popular name in Fiji and neighboring South Pacific Islands Nations.

SPR today has 12 Retail Outlets in all major centers of Fiji, 5 Sound & Hi-Fi Showrooms, 1 State of Art Digital Studio, a professional broadcast standard Video Production House, manufacturers its own Audio and Video Blank Tapes, has high-speed Audio duplication facilities and a modern Multi-Slave Video duplication set-up. SPR is also a major supplier of sound and PA Equipments, Stage Lighting System, Conferencing System and has trained and experienced Technicians for installations of In-house Music Systems, Sound Installations, CCTV-Security Camera Systems, Conferencing Equipment etc.

SPR is also actively involved in Concert and Show Promotions and has brought in major overseas artiest to perform in Fiji. SPR is also a major player in the Theatrical business in Fiji importing movies from India and elsewhere.

Recently SPR has setup a professional Electronic Service Division for Repair and Service of any electrical goods.

SPR firmly believes in expertise training of its staff and has routinely employed expatiate professionals from overseas to train its local employees.
